Lion's Roar Store: Thich Nhat Hanh "I have arrived I am home" Fine Art Print, Large
Item Number: 602
Time Left: CLOSED
Description
We're including this print in the auction owing to the tremendous popularity of all Thich Nhat Hanh calligraphies whether in original or print form in the auction or store. It is an opportunity for everyone to possess a reminder and be inspired by his teaching.
Beloved teacher Thich Nhat Hanh executed the original of this print, one of six, as a gift for Lion's Roar when he was interviewed by editor Melvin McLeod at Deer Park Monastery near San Diego in 2005. The calligraphies accompanied the article, "This is the Buddha's Love," in the March 2006 Lion's Roar. Thay, as Thich Nhat Hanh is lovingly called by his students, has been an ardent friend and supporter of the Lion's Roar, and granted his permission for us to reproduce these works for our benefit.
Thich Nhat Hanh is a Vietnamese Buddhist monk, poet, scholar, and peace activist. He was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 1967 by Martin Luther King Jr. for his efforts in generating peace and reconciliation in his native country.
