Tea for Two from Cynthia's Home Sweet Home
A perennial favorite, High Tea is a sophisticated and very civilized way to spend an afternoon.
For a first course, we serve small rolls and crust less sandwiches with a variety of fillings. These are hearty enough for a meal but dainty enough to be served on china. Next, we bring out scones, these little morsels are served with a mock clotted cream and home made jam.
Now it's time for desserts, tiny tarts, small cakes and delicate cookies complete the meal. Although not traditional we try to round out the meal with a few in-season fruits.
Of course, English tea is poured through out the meal.
Hats, gloves, scarves and dress up costumes are available.
By reservation only. Sundays at 3 p.m.
