Vijay Singh won the 2004 84 Lumber Classic, held at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort on the Mystic Rock Course.  This was Singh’s most complete year on the PGA Tour.  During the season, Singh was the PGA Tour Leading Money Winner, PGA Player of the Year, Vardon Trophy recipient, won the Byron Nelson Award, and was the European Tour Player of the Year.  Incredible!  After winning the PGA Championship and the Duetsche Bank Championship, Singh overtook Tiger Woods as the #1 ranked player in the Official World Golf Ranking, ending Woods’ streak of 264 weeks at the top of the golf world.
