One-week rental house for IPPS members only (time to be arranged). Located in St Maurice d'Ibie, an 80-person country village in Ardèche, about 4 miles from the nearest small town of about 1000 people and about 10 miles from the Pont d'Arc and pre-historic cave “Grote Chauvet”. A VERY rustic stone house (built before 1600), it has a full kitchen with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven etc., as well as a clothes washer. Three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and lots of other space. The terrace looks out onto the mountain behind us. Unlimited nearby areas for hiking, biking, camping and you can kayak down the Ardèche river for 36 km. You can borrow our 3 bikes if you sign a liability waiver. Easy day trips to Provence, Avignon, Nimes, Lyon, and the Riviera. and 5-6 h drive from Spain, Italy and Switzerland. Closest airports are Marseille, Lyon, Nice and Genève. We recommend renting a car.
