Carlton played with the Red Sox in 1969 and then 1971-80. He was with the team when the Sox played in the 1975 World Series against Cincinnati. 

Following a standout career in Boston, Fisk played 13 seasons with the White Sox, capping off a Hall of Fame career in 1993. 

He was welcomed into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2000.
