Botanica is an intimate, upscale, French-influenced restaurant and bar located in the West End of Portsmouth. They specialize in gin (25 types of gin and counting!) but also offer a full bar and enjoy making non-gin cocktails, too. The menu is magnifique, featuring French classics like duck confit, bouillabaisse, and braised rabbit socca.
Owner Brendan Vesey (chef at Botanica's sister restaurant, The Joinery in Newmarket) describes the setting as “femme, floral, garden”. - Dinner must be scheduled in advance on a mutually agreeable date and time and must take place during normal business hours, Monday-Sunday from 5:00pm-9:00pm.
- Blackout dates include major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and Valentine's Day.
