Join fellow NPR lovers and family history buffs for an elegant dinner honoring the beloved NPR broadcaster Scott Simon on Thursday, January 30, 2020, at The Lenox Hotel in Boston, MA. This special evening is a benefit for American Ancestors and New England Historic Genealogical Society - the largest and oldest nonprofit focused on family history research, with 260,000 members worldwide.  As part of the evening program, Scott Simon will be in conversation Margaret Talcott, curator of the American Inspiration author series, also a Music Hall member.  


One of America's most admired writers and broadcasters, Scott Simon has reported from all fifty states, five continents, and ten wars; his books have chronicled character and characters, in war and peace, sports and art, tragedy and comedy. Simon has won every major award in broadcasting for his personal essays, war reporting, and commentary. He hosts Weekend Edition Saturday on National Public Radio.
