Explore a piece of history at Bay Hill Ranch in Bodega Bay where on a clear day you can see Point Reyes, Tomales Point, Mt. Tamalpais, Mt. Diablo, and Doran Beach. You and four friends will be treated to a tour in an all terrain vehicle and a picnic provided by Jupiter Foods. What an adventure!

A personal 3 hour tour for up to 4 people of Bay Hill Ranch in an all terrain vehicle. Bay Hill Ranch is 553 acres overlooking Bodega Bay. Bay Hill Ranch was a thriving sheep ranch for 140 years, neglected for a decade, almost became a rock quarry and now is healing while producing local grass finished beef. If the day is clear, we will be able to see Point Reyes, Tomales Point, Mt Tam, Mt Diablo and Doran Beach.

You’ll see the dramatic erosion that has occurred in the past 150 years and some of the work the Freestone Ranch team is doing to improve the watershed, native plants and soils on the ranch while producing healthy tasty beef. We’ll see ponds, creeks, cows, birds, native plants and the history of the ranch while riding up and down the steep hills in the ATV. If it’s clear and calm, we can picnic while watching the distant waves and looking for the sleeping maiden of Mt Tam. If it’s windy and foggy, we’ll find a quiet sheltered spot.
