Awake to the sound of the Kaweah River right outside your back door at the The Buckeye Tree Lodge before starting on an unforgettable day in the Giant Forest of Sequoia National Park. A Sequoia Parks Conservancy Field Institute naturalist will be your personal guide through the many wonders of this unique area. Your naturalist will share the deep history and fascinating science of the Giant Forest as you gaze up at the largest trees in the world, take in the serenity of a meadow, and experience astonishing views from atop the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The day will culminate with a 350-step climb to the summit of Moro Rock, providing a breathtaking view of the Great Western Divide. Return to The Buckeye Tree Lodge for a second night to gaze into the starry night sky and reflect on the experience of a lifetime!
