One Day Guided Drift Fly Fishing Trip for Two in Northern California - 

THE LOWER SACRAMENTO RIVER-  Northern California's top fly-fishing destination for BIG wild rainbow trout runs right through  Redding, CA.  The river’s healthy trout are all rainbows, and average 16-17 inches.  Trophies over 20" are not uncommon!  When the fish are in a good mood, dozens and dozens of opportunities come to those who get good natural presentations with the right flies in the right spots. 

Your guide, Shane Kohlbeck, has been guiding for Redding’s The Fly Shop for the past 20 years. He was certified by Mel Kreiger thru the Federation of Fly Fishers as an official "Casting Instructor" in 1999.  Shane and his wife, Sarah, have been long time supporters of Casting for Recovery - Northern CA volunteering at our retreats in Douglas City, CA on the Trinity River!

Guide Trip is available for 1 or 2 people. Trip must be booked through The Fly Shop in Redding CA, 800-669-3474. All fishing gear and flies will be provided. Bring your own lunch as the trip will run 8 to 9 hours and your guide will provide water, sodas, and an ice chest. Gratuity for guide not included.
