Talented artist David Schoffman will create an ORIGINAL watercolor portrait of your child! You send him a photo and he will paint an 8in x 5in likeness of the person shown in the photo. If preferred, the winning bidder can submit a photo with more than one person shown in the photograph but the artist notes that "the more people included in a photo the less likely it will be to see their particular physiognomies, making the rendering of likenesses more difficult." The deadline for the winning bidder to submit a photo is the end of this school year (though the artist will be leaving in early June to teach in Paris for the summer (!) and says that if the winning bidder submits the photo at the very end of the school year, he won't be able to paint it until the summer is over).
