Ann-Marie Gillett began her art career with a BS in art education from RIC. She continued her studies in painting, ceramics and printmaking at RISD, Bennington College & Mass College of Art & Design. Now retired from teaching, she has returned to working full time in her studio. Ann-Marie's work is available at Studio Hop in Providence, RI, The Dedee Shattuck Gallery in Westport, MA, and Francesca Anderson Fine Arts in Lexington, MA.
Ann-Marie's ongoing mandala series is created by cutting and arranging hand-painted artist tape into a symmetrical organization on boxed board. Each mandala is unique, reflecting the inherently rich variety of plant life that exists in the artist's surroundings. Much of the artist's work grows from her life-long fascination and observation of the natural world with its ever-changing color relationships, patterns and visual rhythms.

This item can be shipped or picked up at the Attleboro Arts Museum from November 5-9, 2019. The Museum is open Tuesday - Saturday from 10am-5pm. The winning bidder is responsible for all shipping and handling costs. The artist retains all reproduction and copyrights.
