Merola Grand Finale

The Merola Opera Program is pleased to offer the winner:

·       Two orchestra seats to the Merola Grand Finale on August 22, 2020.   The culmination of the Merola Summer Festival, this critically acclaimed concert with full orchestra features the Merola participants in a thrilling evening of arias and captivating ensembles on the main stage of the War Memorial Opera House.

·       Two tickets to a special Merola musical event, normally reserved for members only, in February 2020 (exact date TBD). For details, please phone the Merola office at (415) 936-2311 after December 1, 2019.

Each summer, approximately 23 singers, 5 apprentice coaches and 1 apprentice stage director are selected from nearly one thousand international applicants to participate in the Merola Opera Program. During their 12 weeks at Merola, these talented young artists receive life-changing instruction from a faculty of opera masters and hone their talents in professional quality productions – all entirely free of charge.

Merola Opera is unique among opera programs in that its primary focus is on training and developing the finest young opera singers, coaches, and stage directors from around the world. Our professional level opera productions and concerts are all a part of the world-class training process.
