In 1916, William A. Natorp, a German immigrant and horticulture student decided to place an advertisement in a Cincinnati flower shop window for landscape services that would plant the seed to what would become Natorp's.  William would grow Natorp's to become the most recognizable name in Cincinnati gardening.  As the company grew, it became clear that William could not get the quality plants he needed for his landscape clients and made the decision to grow his own, creating Natorp's nursery. 

With his passion blossoming four generations later, Natorp's Nursery has become the region's largest grower.  The nursery grows over one million plants annually including:  annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs and edibles.  The company employs the best growers that meticulously cultivate 740 cultivars of annuals, 800 varieties of perennials and shrubs and 10,000 trees with over 200 varieties.
