Description
Enjoy a week in El Cardonal, a small fishing village on the Sea of Cortez in Baja California, Mexico. El Cardonal is a picturesque, arid sanctuary, breezing amid the various cactus and the mountainous desert terrain of Baja California Sur.
The three bedroom, four bath home, with heated pool and jacuzzi, sits on a private white sand beach situated on a living coral reef, with great snorkeling and fishing. The tranquil, salty waters are ideal for swimming and are particularly safe for young children. With two king beds and two queen beds, the home can comfortably sleep 7-9 people.
The house is a one and a half hour drive from the Los Cabos airport, and a 25 minute drive from a substantial grocery store, but the small town of El Cardonal hosts several small markets and a few delicious restaurants.
Easily accessible amenities include: horseback riding, four wheeling/ATV rentals, whale watching tours, guided fishing, kayak rentals, and catering services.
Please note that unless you are a kiteboarder, this area is best to visit between spring and fall, as the winter months are very windy.
The winning bidder will receive a certificate with instructions for contacting the donor via email or phone to get info regarding selecting dates and making a reservation.

Special Instructions
Pick up: Winning bidders can pick up their items at the live event, if present, after the close of the auction and upon successful payment confirmation. A Charter Foundation Representative will contact all other local winning bidders on Monday October 7th to make arrangements for pick up at the school.
Shipping: Items will be shipped to Winning Bidders residing out of town at your expense. Please note that if the item is a gift certificate, gift card, tickets or a similar item, it cannot be insured. We will send it by certified mail. For other items, the shipping charge will include insurance.
The Charter Foundation is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
