When an animal comes into our shelter unwell (which is often the case for those who have been abused and neglected), our veterinarians rely on blood tests to determine the problem. Blood work tells us a lot about the health of an animal, allowing us to make informed decisions about their treatment and get the animal feeling like themselves again as quickly as possible.
