Tall Carved Face Mask Wall Hanging
This item appears to be vintage and hand carved. It has a face in the center, surrounded by the sun and a fish over the face.
It is very similar to other masks from Mexico but has no identifier of origin.
Likely from the 80's it is made of wood and hand painted with a nylon twine "hanger" on the back. There are two small holes in the top which appear to be another way to display.
This quaint mask looks like Mexican Folk Art. It has fabulous vintage, folkloric appeal and is a must have for mask collectors.
