Annette Makino has donated a unframed digital print.  She chose it as a special contribution to our on-line auction because it made her think of cancer survivors. 

As lovely as it is on the computer screen, this piece is even prettier in real life.  It is signed by the artist.  On top of a colorful stack of books, one lies open . . . to possibility. This makes a great art print to mark graduation, a move to a new home, new job, new home, divorce or other life change. Book lovers will especially appreciate the inviting image.  The haiku reads: 

"new chapter—
she becomes the hero
of her own story"

This would make a very special gift.  I wish we could give one to every single woman facing cancer!
