This appears to be a very fine guilloche enamel sterling silver compact. This lovely art deco compact is sterling silver with a gold wash.                                            The item is excellent vintage condition with no damage. It is signed with the number 21, Sterling Silver, Made in Austria on the inside. There is a beveled mirror. The inside and back are nice and bright. The enamel is a deep purple color enamel. Tiny in size, this compact is 2 inch diameter. The top of the outside is adorned by two love birds.
