As a teen he saw his first Judo/Jiu-Jitsu fight, and he was hooked. He has dedicated the rest of his life to the study, practice, teaching, and advancement of martial arts.
Taking his life-long passion, Fred founded the Degerberg Academy in the interest of teaching kids and adults the full-life benefits of the martial arts.
