Statement of Artistic Philosophy
I like to take my time and study the subject. I take a mental picture of how I want the picture to look, and I try to capture it. I look at the subject in the environment. Is the subject part of it or oblivious to it? I look for contrasting images: old/new, alone/together, excitement/indifference.
