10 bottles 2014 Broadway Vineyards Estate Chardonnay - Los Carneros

Jim and Marilyn Hybiske purchased a prime property on Broadway Road, two miles south of downtown Sonoma in 2002 and six of their wine loving friends joined forces to develop a small vineyard and produce exceptional Sonoma County wines.   In 2006 the first harvest produced very promising fruit and Broadway Vineyards began producing authentic estate grown Chardonnay, Merlot and Syrah that embodies the essence of Sonoma.  This Chardonnay is an unique blend of two low yielding French Dijon clones that is barrel fermented in neutral French oak and aged for 11 months.  The complex flavors that develop lead to floral aromas with notes of peaches and apricots.  Well structured, with a lush, lingering finish.  Delightful.
