This lap quilt or wall hanging measures 76" x 58" and is appraised at $500. It is a mashup of blocks leftover from two previous creations. It Includes printed fabrics inspired by the art of aboriginal women "Down Under" and bright Indonesian batiks. The black sashing and border add drama to the colorful blocks.

Cactus Quilt Shop Story

It’s been twenty-one years since Nancy had a vivid dream that inspired her to open Cactus Quilt Shop. She could see the store even smell the fabric. We opened our doors in November of 1997 with a mere 600 bolts of fabric and in the years since we have grown to over 3000 bolts. Our shop has a large collection of reproduction 19th and early 20th century fabrics as well as batiks, novelties, florals, and Southwest designs. Don’t forget our “Kitty Korner” with over 100 bolts of cat fabric, books and patterns.

It is our hope that when you come in to Cactus Quilt Shop you feel like you are coming home. Whether you have fifty years of quilting experience or none at all, we have something for you.
