Description
This program, for two, will take place on Friday, April, 3, 2020, 10:00 am-12:00 pm. It explores the history of painting eggs, first as a symbol of rebirth from a dark winter in Pagan ritual, and then as a symbol of hope in the Resurrection. The focus will be on the pysanka, a form of batik born in Kievan Rus and associated with Modern Ukraine. Participants will use historic and modern techniques to create pieces of art that are personal and meaningful Everyone goes home with their creation! More details found here.
