This program, for two, will take place on Friday, April, 3, 2020, 10:00 am-12:00 pm. It explores the history of painting eggs, first as a symbol of rebirth from a dark winter in Pagan ritual, and then as a symbol of hope in the Resurrection. The focus will be on the pysanka, a form of batik born in Kievan Rus and associated with Modern Ukraine.
