Godin Flat Five X hollowbody guitar. This is a hard to find guitar, very versatile and made well. Made in Canada, this guitar sports a solid spruce top, humbucker pickups, with a five way switch. This being an "X" model it also has 6 saddle transducers. So... five way switch? Saddle Transducers? What does all this mean? It means its one of the most versatile guitars on the market. With the 5 way switch you are capable of using the neck pickup in 1 position, bridge pickup in the 5 position or both in the 3 position. Split the pickups for some single coil action in the 2 and 4 position, 2 for neck, 4 for bridge. The six saddle transducers provide a nice natural acoustic tone. These pickups are controlled by the slider found in the upper bout of the guitar. 4 sliders for volume, high, mid, and low. In addition to all this you have 3 input jacks on the guitar. This allows you to split the signals of the humbuckers and saddle transducers. Run a cable from your favorite electric guitar amp into input 1 to play that classic rock, blues or funk. From input 3 run a cable straight into your direct box and treat it as a standard acoustic. Or use input 2 to carry both signals. Also, with the 3 way toggle switch you activate the transducers, humbuckers, or use both at the same time. That's quite an impressive amount of options for one guitar.
