DREAM MUSIC PUPPETRY
ANYWHERE. Mar 11-15
Freely inspired by the novel Oedipus on the Road by Henry Bauchau, Anywhere, evokes the long wandering of Oedipus accompanied by his daughter Antigone. The fallen Oedipus appears in the form of an ice puppet that gradually turns into water then into mist and disappears in the Erynian Forest, the place of clairvoyance.
The HERE Arts Center is a New York City-based off-off-Broadway house, founded in 1993. The location includes two stages specializing in hybrid performance, dance, theater, multi-media and puppetry in addition to art exhibition space and a cafe. HERE supports the work of artists at all stages in their careers through fully produced works, commissions and subsidized performance and rehearsal space
