Dawn Barnes Karate Kids been voted "Best Children's Martial Arts School by L.A. Parent and L.A. Daily News.
We've been teaching karate ages 2 to 14 in a love-based environment for over 20 years. Using the world's first style specifically designed for children, students learn age-appropriate, "playground safe" self defense skills based on natural movements to build self esteem and confidence. Students are also encouraged to practice Respect, Focus, Patience, Honesty, and Kindness in all aspects of their lives, at our school, in your school, and at home.
