The Gibbon Conservation Center (GCC) is a non-profit located in Santa Clarita, CA. The Gibbon Conservation Center houses gibbons, small endangered apes from Southeast Asia. Their mission is to promote the conservation, study, and care of gibbons through public education and habitat preservation. 

Gibbons are small arboreal apes native to Southeast Asia. These amazing acrobats live in nuclear families consisting of a mated pair and their young offspring. The family declares their territory with elaborate songs. Gibbons are amongst the most diverse group of any ape with 19 species divided into 4 genera. The GCC houses 5 species and all 4 genera.
