Journey with your child through a musical storybook world! Play-a-Story is an innovative approach to improvisation that uses simple musical motifs. Before ever learning to play another composer’s music, children have the opportunity to discover their own musical story.

Children ages 4-6 use stories as the basis for creating music, improvising their own “soundtracks.” Students learn to interpret mood, color and nuance as the story unfolds. Before ever learning to play another composer’s music, children discover their own musical story! Expect to have lots of fun! You'll be playing in no time, and enjoying every step along the way.

Lessons are 30 minutes in length.

Amy R. Levine, credentialed music teacher and Licensed Simply Music and Play-a- Story teacher, has been teaching music to children and adults for over 15 years.

Materials, including instructional videos, audio files and pdfs, are not included and cost $10.
