As TEACHER FOR THE DAY, up through lunchtime, the winning student will perform such duties (if applicable to the class) as:

• CLASSROOM LINE UP/WALK STUDENTS TO CLASS


• IN CLASS ROLL CALL


• HELP WITH LUNCH COUNT


• MAKE CLASS ANNOUNCEMENTS


• PASS OUT/HELP COLLECT HOMEWORK & IMPORTANT PAPERS


• INSTRUCTION/LESSON PLANS


• RELEASE STUDENTS FOR RECESS AND DISMISSAL


• WALK STUDENTS TO LIBRARY/COMPUTER LAB/YMCA


• …and more!

All TEACHERS FOR THE DAY will share a special catered lunch with their teacher, courtesy of the PTO, in the teachers’ lounge.  TEACHERS FOR THE DAY will also receive a special Teacher ID badge, be featured on a special welcome banner, and be announced by Ms. Gillis at the morning line-up (weather permitting). 

Winners will be TEACHER FOR THE DAY on Monday, December 16th.
