Whether you are straight off the couch or an elite athlete, our classes are appropriate for all levels, and we always provide regressions and progressions for each client to meet their individual needs. This helps newbies to ease in, and those more experienced to take their Pilates practice to the next level. Workouts are designed with our mantra of “Tone, Sweat and Transform” in mind. Reformer exercises are combined with mat, tower or chair work, plus small apparatus. This approach prevents plateaus, continues to tone the body and workouts are never the same, making for a fun and challenging experience for all.

For over 25 years I enjoyed a successful and rewarding graphic design career. But by the age of 46 I had developed the poor posture, flabby muscles, and slumped shoulders that come from spending too many hours at a computer.

I kept hearing the buzz about Pilates transforming bodies and was determined to experience it for myself.  Inspired by the immediate changes in my own body after practicing just three times a week for only one month, I decided to enroll in a teacher training certification program.  After completing an intense comprehensive Pilates apparatus training and apprenticeship through the Physical Mind Institute method, I was ready to teach and bring "Pilates to the people" of Napa Valley!  I chose to shift gears from my longtime graphic design career and make this my full-time profession, opened Pilates Napa Valley in May 2007, and we’ve been going 12 years strong ever since.  I’ve enjoyed every minute of it, and love training clients of all ages and fitness levels...watching their bodies and lives change through the magic of Pilates, just as mine did.
