Caymus 2017 Napa Valley Zinfandel, 3L Double-Magnum - Party Size!!
Although Caymus is best known for Cabernet Sauvignon, we also produce a small amount of Zinfandel, which was a favorite of Caymus founder Charlie Wagner. It is a varietal that can produce amazing wines here in Napa Valley and our full-bodied version is perfect for rich foods and hearty cheeses but also enjoyed with pizza and BBQ. Sold only from the winery and to a few select export markets.

Over the decades, the Napa landscape has changed as much as the essence of our wines. Napa has become a most beautiful agricultural valley, a manicured garden 30 miles in length, and its Cabernet is one of the world’s most revered wines.
Even at Caymus, our approach to producing our top wine has evolved considerably. From the days of me by my Father’s side punching down fermenters with the simple goal of making a good wine that would sell, to today using some of those same techniques with the goal to make a top wine of our Valley. By luck, I grew up in the Rutherford farmland with grapes and prunes surrounding our farmhouse.

Winning bidders located in Northern California may pick up their items at Stone Bridge School in Napa from Tuesday, February 11 to Friday, February 28, 2020, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. PT. (Note that the school will be closed for February break from February 17-21.) Items not picked up by February 28 will be mailed to the winning bidder, and purchaser is responsible for shipping and insurance costs.
Items purchased by bidders residing outside of Northern California will be shipped (if possible) on or around Tuesday, February 11, unless you tell us that you do wish to pick up your item. Purchaser is responsible for shipping and insurance costs. Please contact us at sbspcauction@gmail.com by February 10 if you plan to pick up.
