Fore 2018 Albariño, Stewart Vineyard: With wines like this one, there's no telling the heights that Albariño might be capable of in California. Sourced from the Stewart Vineyard in Carneros, this wine benefits from the region's maritime climate, providing cool mornings and evenings to preserve that naturally prickly acidity and salty minerality, both of which are classic Albariño. Perfect for seafood platters or hard cheeses.

Fore 2017 Pinot Noir: Fore Family Carneros Napa Pinot Noir offers up savory scents of Morello cherries, woodland blackberries and a cornucopia of enticing spices from the minute it is poured. The wine’s beckoning aromatics follow through on the palate, carried on a bed of silky tannins that continue to caress the palate long after the wine has been swallowed. Unfolding slowly with each sip, the wine’s hauntingly beautiful fruit, exotic spice, and fresh forest floor tones are an absolute delight.

Fore 2016 GSM (Grenache, Syrah, Mouvedre): This is a great expression of a GSM, Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre, that is delicate in the mouth which makes it a great wine if you feel like having more than a glass. You can really taste the pepper, clove, and cinnamon notes, but they never reach a level that is cloying. The finish is long and restrained - something we love - and Red Hills Lake County (just North of Napa) is still a hidden gem.

Fore Family's Lake County Cobb Mountain vineyard is a true mountain top vineyard, surrounded by big timber, Ponderosa Pine, Firs and Black Oaks. The loose, rocky, red hills volcanic soil is extremely well-drained and when you combine this terroir with Lake County's tremendous sun and Cobb Mountain’s cool evenings it gives them the perfect opportunity to produce premium wine grapes. Fore Family Vineyards has a goal of limiting production and continuing with their low yield program so that they can produce a high-quality wine for you to enjoy for years to come. www.forewines.simplycms.com
