* Maroon 2013 Malbec, 1 bottle

* Allora 2013 Cielo, Proprietary Red, 1 bottle

* Pope Valley 2016 Merlot, 1 bottle

* Chappellet 2017 Mountain Cuvée, 1 bottle

Maroon 2013 Malbec: Our 2013 Malbec comes from 11 year old vines which are carefully farmed on the North East slope of Howell Mountain. The wine is big, dark and inky with aromas of plums and dark ripe berries. This is a rustic wine with powerful fruit. On the palate the wine is rich and round, with a long wonderful finish.

Allora 2013 Cielo, Proprietary Red: This food-friendly wine features aromas of blackberries, tarragon, white pepper and raspberries. Cielo has a bright finish to compliment your favorite foods. Blend: 41% Sangiovese, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Petite Sirah.

Pope Valley 2016 Merlot: Camphor, dried tobacco, and basil abound! Integrated acid and soft tannins give this wine its characteristic plush, round mouthfeel. A fine palate of English plums, raspberry gratin, and dried thyme makes the Merlot versatile enough for any meal.

Chappellet 2017 Mountain Cuvée: This lush and layered Bordeaux blend begins with alluring fruit-driven aromas of cherry, currant and plum, as well as sophisticated undercurrents of graphite, cedar, clove and nutmeg. The berry and spice notes are echoed on the round, mouthcoating palate, where they mingle with hints of black tea, vanilla and savory herbs. An underpinning of tannins provides weight, structure and impressive length to the finish. Blend 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot, 8% Malbec, 6% Petit Verdot, 3% Cabernet Franc.

Maroon Wines: Maroon hand crafts a number of very small production wines from vineyard sources that may change from year to year. While the vineyard sources may change, their wine making philosophy does not – focusing on creating 100% varietal wines (no blending). These wines are often only made available to their wine club. www.maroonwines.com

Allora Vineyards: The word Allora in Italian loosely translates to ‘so what’. It is a word that is often used in Italy as ‘whatever’, and we felt this best described our style as well. We want to share our passion for wine with all who visit. Allora Vineyards was established in 1999. The Proprietors of Allora are Terry & Nancy Klein and they manage the winery with their family. In 1998, the Klein’s came across a 15-acre parcel on the north end of Saint Helena which had been used solely as pasture grounds for over 50 years. The soil was ideal for a vineyard as it was a rich sandy-loam and clay. They purchased it and immediately got to work in preparing for a vineyard. Part of the preparation including consulting some of the most notable wine growers in Napa Valley. They assisted in selecting rootstock, vineyard orientation, sun exposure, clones and varietals. www.alloravineyards.com

Pope Valley Winery: The Pope Valley Winery was founded in 1897 by Ed Haus as Burgundy Winery & Olive Oil Factory. A century later in 1997, the Eakle family purchased the historic winery and gave it a new life as Pope Valley Winery. In 2009 the next generation of Eakles stepped in to continue building and furthering the family's vision for Pope Valley Winery as a fine winemaking establishment. Currently siblings David Eakle, winemaker, and Diana Eakle Hawkins, general manager, are making great strides in bringing Pope Valley Winery to the next level. www.popevalleywinery.com

Chappellett: Sustainable and Environmentally Conscious Practices. For 50 years, the Chappellets have been dedicated stewards of their land, working to honor the natural integrity of Napa Valley’s Pritchard Hill. In practice, this stewardship has manifested itself as a committed focus on sustainable, organic and green practices, both in the vineyard and the winery. www.chappellet.com
