Up for bid is one 1.5 lb. jar of raw, local wildflower honey from St. Helena, California (lot 2 of 2)
100% local honey from Russian honeybees within a 2-mile radius of Sunnyside Road in St. Helena, CA. These bees are a special breed of Apis mellifera that originated in the Primorsky Krai region of Russia on the Japanese Sea. They were imported into the United States in 1997 by the USDA's Honeybee Breeding, Genetics & Physiology Laboratory in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in response to severe declines in bee populations caused by infestations of parasitic mites. The queen was raised at Honey Bee Genetics in Vacaville, CA.
Special Instructions
Winning bidders located in Northern California may pick up their items at Stone Bridge School in Napa from Tuesday, February 11 to Friday, February 28, 2020, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Note that the school will be closed for break from February 17-21.) Items not picked up by February 28 will be mailed to the winning bidder, and purchaser is responsible for shipping and insurance costs. (Gift cards and gift certificates ship for free.)
Items purchased by bidders residing outside of Northern California will be shipped on or around Tuesday, February 11, unless you tell us that you do wish to pick up your item.
