The National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) is the successor of the Men’s Premier Soccer League (MPSL), which formed in 2002. In 2005, the league was recreated into an expanded national league to accommodate teams from the Midwest region, and in 2007 a Northeastern region was added. In 2008, the National Premier Soccer League became a truly national league with the addition of the Southeast region.
The NPSL is sanctioned by the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA) as an affiliate of the United States Soccer Federation (USSF), the ruling body for soccer in the United States and FIFA the world’s ruling body for soccer. Integrity, Success, and Longevity are what the National Premier Soccer League stands for. The NPSL operates and is managed as a team run league.
The Napa Valley 1839 FC compete in the National Premier Soccer League as a part of the Golden Gate Conference in the West Region. We are a premier soccer team committed to providing quality soccer and fostering growth and development to the highest level for every player.
THE VISION PATHWAY TO EXCELLENCE The NPSL provides an opportunity for our community to come together to share the joy of soccer. Soccer teams throughout the world put aside their differences to cheer on their team and the same will hold true in Napa. The NPSL also provides an opportunity for our best players to reach their goals of becoming professional athletes with the chance to represent their county.
WHY NAPA VALLEY 1839 FC? We wanted to pay homage to the man who started it all in 1839, George C. Yount. George C. Yount planted the first grapes in the Napa Valley. What better way to remember such historic significance in the Napa Valley by wearing the 1839 on our team crest.

Winning bidders located in Northern California may pick up their items at Stone Bridge School in Napa from Tuesday, February 11 to Friday, February 28, 2020, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Note that the school will be closed for break from February 17-21.) Items not picked up by February 28 will be mailed to the winning bidder, and purchaser is responsible for shipping and insurance costs. (Gift cards and gift certificates ship for free.)
Items purchased by bidders residing outside of Northern California will be shipped on or around Tuesday, February 11, unless you tell us that you do wish to pick up your item.
