Wine collection includes:
Benoit Daridan Cheverny Rouge. Cheverny, France. From the region of Cheverny in the Loire Valley where this area makes blends of mostly Gamay and Pinot Noir. This is a great producer making clean, bright reds that are light but not lightweight.
Altos de Torino Albarino Rias. Baixas, Spain. A wine for Maine cuisine. A superb shellfish, lobster wine. Crisp, with loads of body and spice. Albarino is the perfect grape to pair with coastal cuisine.
Seven of Hearts Pinot Noir. Willamette Valley, Oregon. From a great small producer in the heart of Pinot Noir land. A smooth and dense style of Pinot Noir with rich and polished flavors. Great Oregon Pinot Noir.
Domaine Billard Hautes Cotes du Beaune Rouge. Burgundy, France. A refined Pinot Noir from a great producer in Burgundy. The Estate is now in its 5th generation family winemaking. A beautiful and elegant style. It will age for 10 more years but is ready now.
Urgency Winery Pinot Noir. Lake County, CA. A mountain-grown Pinot noir made north of Napa valley in a cooler climate. Bold and rich in style. Ready to drink and good to have with friends and comfort food. Very friendly style.
Lone Birch Cabernet. Yakima Valley, Washington. A smooth, easy style of Cab. Classic dark, dry flavors that you get with Washington State reds. Some oak influence. Think grilled foods and beef.
Old Pearl Cabernet. Lake County, California. A smooth and easy Cab. Not too heavy. Very easy drinking and friendly style. Organically grown.
Baron L'Ecluse Brouilly. Beaujolais, France. From an award-winning producer of great Beaujolais. This is dry and delicious. The grape is Gamay and can sometimes be too strawberry sweet. This wine is savory and structured. This is a great Burgundy red that does not use Pinot Noir.
Teliani Valley Saperavi. Georgian Republic. The Republic of Georgia has the oldest winemaking tradition of all countries. It goes back 8,000 years and they make some of the finest wines on the market today. Saperavi is their answer to Cabernet of Merlot. This wine is easy, smooth and a great alternative to Bordeaux.
Vigneti Fuschi Vini "Moss" Abruzzi, Italy. A super light, sparkling wine from Southern Italy. A great start of a celebration. This bubbly floats on air. Think as an alternative to Prosecco.
Poitout Chablis "Bienomeé". Burgundy, France. The greatest expression of Chardonnay can be found in Chablis. The cooler climate and chalky soil gives Chardonnay a crisp, mineral elegance found nowhere else in the world. This is an organic producer making some of the best wines in the region. No oak. This is the polar opposite of a Napa Chardonnay....all for the better.
Scenic Valley Pinot Gris. Willamette Valley, Oregon. From a winery that started in 1970. This is a pure expression of Pinot Gris. A natural, organic wine that lets the light citrus and soft orchard fruit shine. Great with shellfish dishes.
