Holly Pharoah is a Halifax based artist and engineer who applies her love of intricate designs and drawing to literary backdrops. Discarded and recycled books are given new life as they are filled with inked subjects ranging from sea creatures and birds to woodland animals and city landmarks.
Her training in the biomechanical world has also led to unique anatomy art, a special treat for those in medical industries. All art is done directly onto the vintage, out of copyright books, and is both drawn and printed locally in Halifax. Holly sells both prints of her work, as well as accepts commissions for original pieces.
