Florian Busch (°1986, Bonn, Germany) is an artist who works in a variety of media. His artworks are characterised by the use of everyday objects in an atmosphere of middleclass mentality in which recognition plays an important role. By taking daily life as subject matter while commenting on the everyday aesthetic of middle class values, he wants the viewer to become part of the art as a kind of added component. Art is entertainment: to be able to touch the work, as well as to interact with the work is important. He use different Kind of Media with different technics. In his youth he started to draw Cartoons and paint as an Graffiti Artist in Germany. Since he moved 2014 to the Bay Area, Florian has time to collect experience with different technics like stencil-art, resin-art or sculptures.
In 2018 and 2019 he participated in the #HERTSINSF project of the San Francisco General Hospital Foundation. This project inspired him together with the stencil technique and Dot Art to design the "heart collection". Three hearts, not only stand for the name Flo, not just for Peace / Love & Unity ... decide for yourself what they stand for.
