Just think of the music this desk has seen! A beautifully handcrafted hardwood secretary desk with Shaker lines, this piece was made in the mid-1990s especially for Alfa by the son of a former parishioner. She used it for more than 20 years in her church office. Alfa planned many musicals and Sunday services at this desk. Imagine the memories it holds!

The desk has four top and two middle drawers, and two lower doors that open to a single fixed shelf for storage. The desktop folds down into a work area. The joints are dovetailed throughout. The simple pulls and hinges are brass. The piece is in very nice condition and can be seen in the old office off the Parlor.
