Dave Blackman established Blackman Ltd. to service the marine industry in and around Newport bay, specializing early in sales and service of marine chronometers, high grade watches like Rolex, Patek Philippe, compasses, barometers, sextants and other marine instruments.  He quickly developed a reputation for expert repairs and service.
