Your child will enjoy One (1) Full Week of ‘Aha!’ Moments at DESTINATION SCIENCE, for Ages 5-11, M-F, 9am-3pm (extended hours available @ most locations with an additional fee).

ROBOT ISLAND & MOVIE MAKERS CAMP

Welcome to Robot Island where we will transform the island into a science fun park for Robotic adventures!  Use the engineering design process to create mini robots, traffic lights and fun gravity-powered mazes! Create the next animated movie using science and take home our own movie making kit!

GALACTIC SPACE TRAINING CAMP                                                   

Join the DS Jedi Training Academy and build a Millennium Starship ready to complete galactic challenges and earn a light-powered science saber. Compare Jedi mind tricks to real physics forces, like magnetism, infrared light, and sound waves! Construct your own motorized Rover Droid to adapt to different terrains.

PLAYSPACE ENGINEERING & SPY-TECH CAMP                                          

Engineers at Play! build your own solar powered, motorized playspace, complete with a water slide, swings, merry-go-round and a vibrating sled ride. Help our team solve the mystery using fingerprints, chemistry & DNA testing.  Build spy tech tools like a lie detector, walkie talkies, and more.

STEAM INVENTORS & GRAVITY RACERS CAMP

Join the STEAM Dream Team! Harness the power of STEAM with science, technology, engineering, art and math--combine it all to master your own amazing Oonie Maker Machine.  Spark curiosity with the force of air-power, stretchy polymer technology, structural engineering, crazy catapults, artistic color theory and math gaming. Uncover invisible radio waves and vacuum power with your wall climbing RC Anti-Gravity Racer!

COVID-19 Update from Destination Science:
As of today, May 9th we remain optimistic that camp will take place, most of our camp facilities are expecting to be open. The final decision depends on directives from the governors and the local health authorities. When camp opens, we will implement proactive policies and procedures in order to follow the guidelines put forth by the American Camp Association and the CDC. This will surely include meeting and staying in small, self-contained groups. The health and safety of our campers and staff will always be our top priority.

Understandably even when we open our doors, some of our families will not be able to join us. Should your family be required to stay Safe @ Home, here are some options we are providing so your children can still have a Destination Science Experience this summer.

D.S. LIVE – Zoom lessons with a Destination Science teacher eachday, Monday-Friday, 2.5 hrs per day. Access to video instructions to build at your own pace. 2 Science Station Activities with supplies provided.(Valued as a half day camp)

D.S. @ Home Science Kits – Our team will ship you a D.S. @ Home Science Supply Kit. Your kit will include access to instructional videos and science cards to guide you. (Value: $25-$100/kit)

The D.S. Super Store – Fun science gadgets & toys designed that children can build and manipulate at home with little parent supervision and direction. They are sure to keep children engaged and busy.(i.e. Gliders with launchers, Telescope, Fossil Digs, small robots, etc.)
