Platypus Tours Limited is a tour company specializing in intimate, unforgettable wine tours. You have found the anti-wine snob wine tour.We are a team of passionate and very experienced tour guides and support staff, specializing in tours of the Napa Valley and Sonoma Valley, as well as other magnificent local wine regions, such as Carneros, Russian River, Dry Creek, West Side and Alexander Valley.
The group join-in tour lasts about 6 hours and visits multiple wineries. We specialize in wineries that are small, boutique or family owned, and off the beaten path. Depending on where you are staying, the tour starts around 10:15 am, and lasts until about 5 pm.Picnic lunch at one of the wineries, chilled bottled water, and a cheese and cracker tray are included.
