For all those who give their time and energy every day for family and friends, jobs and commitments, now is the time to do something special for yourself. Come be "Wanderfull" in nature. Walks in nature help us to relax and increase our inner joy. They lower our stress, depression, and anxiety levels, they increase our attention spans and memory and serve as a source of gentle exercise. Spending time in the natural world slows us down and makes us feel at peace. Mindfulness is the practice of being present in the moment (BE HERE NOW). Incorporating mindfulness maximizes all of the benefits of walks in nature and daily life.
We will begin our time together with some breathing and grounding, then proceed with a mindful wander in a beautiful, natural, peaceful setting. The hike will be tailored to the level and energy of the group. Some instruction and guidance will be given. We will close our time together with some gentle stretches, a guided meditation and reflections of gratitude. At the end, Mindful Walkers will be rewarded with refreshing beverages and a healthy nibble.
All attendees will also receive some positive quotes and suggestions for ways to practic mindfulness on a daily basis.
