Holly arrived at the Elephant Hospital in a pitiable state and was in dire need of medical care. Formerly used as a begging elephant, Holly was mercilessly exploited by her owners for commercial purposes. Malnourished and bilaterally blind, Holly also suffers from lameness as a result of severe arthritis.  At Wildlife SOS, Holly is finally receiving the critical medical care and is in the loving company of other rescued elephants.

Owing to old age, Holly’s bones are weak which gives her a hard time during the cold months. Help keep Holly warm by buying her a blanket!
