Our adorable boy Raju, is a 50 year old tuskless bull elephant known as “The elephant who cried” because of the tears he shed during his rescue in 2014. His crying was caught on video, which went viral. As a result, Raju is our most famous elephant at the sanctuary.

Raju has thrived at the sanctuary, and we love that Rebecca captured his magnificence!
