Luna Padhchinh-original footprint from Kartick Satyanarayan & completed by Alpana Ahuja

Item Number: 434
Time Left: CLOSED

Description
After suffering from abuse for nearly five decades, Luna finally came to the Wildlife SOS Elephant Hospital for treatment in the month of February. Her weakened state and severely arthritic limbs resulted in chronic pain that followed her around like a shadow. We were all touched by the remarkable spirit she had to fight all the odds against her. However, her pain was much to great and she couldn’t continue to fight.
She passed away in her sleep on the 30th of March, with her keeper beside her. We were able to get a few of her footprints while she was with us and are offering this limited collection to our supporters.
