KARMA

Karma is in her late forties and was rescued from a strenuous life that she lived as a begging elephant, walking on concrete and unnatural surfaces. When she came to Wildlife SOS Elephant Hospital for lifetime care and treatment, her exhausted joints and worn-out footpads spoke volumes of the amount of pain that she had suffered in her past. To make things worse, Karma has absolutely no vision in one eye and is gradually losing vision in the other eye, this can be due to malnutrition that she suffered at the hands of her owner. Today, surrounded by those who love and care for her, and her dear friends, Kalpana and Holly, Karma has embarked upon a healing journey with us!
