After weeks of anticipation, Karma was slowly introduced to Kalpana and Holly while staff at the Elephant Conservation and Care Centre waited with bated breath to witness the interaction.

Despite some initial hesitation, Karma was welcomed by Kalpana and Holly into their herd amidst joyful grunts, rumbles and hesitant trunk hugs. Among the three friends, Holly and Karma are completely blind while Kalpana has partial vision. It is evident that Karma is delighted with her new family, as are we.
