Artist bio: Jamie Heraver is an animal rights author and artist that creates children’s books and works of art that give a voice to the voiceless. She uses her platform, Angel of the Animals, to invite local families to do their part in making the world a better place. Her first book, An Elephant’s Story, gives a voice to elephants trapped in the tourism industry and provides readers with simple ways they can help. She has reached the hearts of many from all ages and backgrounds, gaining the support of her local community as well as wonderful organizations like PETA Kids. All proceeds from her books and art are used to support the continuation of projects, events, and campaigns, as well as various credible rescue and wildlife organizations.
